My dog has lost about 8 pounds and my vet recommended Science Diet Light or medical (dry) dog food. I hope that Science Diet Light, because the doctor is very expensive. However, I read mixed reactions to the Science Diet. They have a bunch of garbage in landfills or feed good quality dog. My dog needs food calorie low fat dry dog food.

Food Science Diet Light is a lighter weight of the dog to fill, without tons of calories in your system. Dogs have eaten in the hospital, I work everything he wanted, so I'm assuming it does not taste like crap.

I had the same problem when my dog was 2 stone in weight, do not know much about the diet that can only science a bit expensive, I bought a light diet, dry food dog food I into two parts and 2 to 3 were lost an apple a day, including 2 stone in 12 months and older than he, I bought food for older dogs, this program was recommended by my vet.
